Boronia Radio Controlled Car Club

With a number of existing and former members of the club directly affected by the ongoing bushfires in the region it was decided that all proceeds from race fees and the canteen over the course of racing on February 11th would be donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

I’ve spent some time over the holiday period updating the website to introduce a new look and features which I hope everyone will enjoy using. You'll notice there's far more content than the previous site and I've added a whole bunch of new functions to allow members to interact with the site (rather than just using the chat box!).

Last week saw the successful return of the Formula 1 classs to BRCCC with 9 new cars lining up on the starting grid for round one of the season in what was proven to be some very close racing.

The small 2WD F103 and F102 chassis is living up to its reputation of being a fast yet difficult to handle car with most drivers struggling to keep them in a straight line in the first couple of races. There were plenty of spins and love taps to keep the racing interesting but by the third race a few people had found their straps and were setting some quite impressive times.
